This adorably bright nursery space was a fun one to put together. I love the clean palette of the white walls, the neutral carpeting set to be accented by neon flamingo colors, lots of textured whites, and black to ground the space. Girly accented sheets without being over the top, it is a relaxing and inviting nursery, but also lively at the same time.
I call this nursery (designed for a little girl), my bright flamingo nursery. When I found this bedding (Pottery Barn Kids), it immediately made me think of a flamingo. Of course, I was thrilled to find this awesome watercolor (Minted) with all the right shades to complement it!
Every nursery needs blackout curtains (because, night, night little one ... I learned this the hard way with one terrible sleeper), a great chair (because some babes will need some long rocks and snuggles), a side table for putting down your coffee, the baby bottle, or Goodnight Moon, and a lamp for some ambient lighting.
Side note: The one piece I would have liked to add to this space would be a sheepskin style rug in front of the crib, but even without it, I love how this nursery feels.
I cannot recommend this glider/swivel enough. It was ridiculously reasonable from Wayfair and super comfortable. If you're designing a nursery, don't hesitate to grab this one.
