Forty Nine Interiors is a Wasilla-based interior design firm, but we serve a much wider area. In fact, we are proud to have designed spaces all over the country with our Distance Design service.
Interior design in Anchorage, Alaska is a big focus for us, along with our awesome Mat-Su Valley projects as well. We find that families all over the state of Alaska (hello Fairbanks, Cooper's Landing, Girdwood, Palmer, and Big Lake!) are looking to improve their surroundings and want to feel at home in their space. A trait that we are known for. People want their homes to be comfortable and a reflection of them - though, most of the time, my clients aren't sure what that looks like. That's where we come in. During our discovery and research, we are able to nail down your style and point our design in that direction.
We love taking unused spaces and turning them into hang-out magnets. Defining a use for a room. Or, we love taking a tighter space and figuring out how to really maximize the interior design and use of the space. Design delimmas are common and we love coming up withe solution because interior design with function is a pillar of our experience.
Working with busy families is my jam. With three kids of my own (two teenagers and one preteen), I get it. Whether you have kids or not, I want everyone to be heard in the space and I cater my designs to all of my clients, all ages, and did I mention that I understand Alaskans? Interior design in Alaska has some different needs. I've seen it all. My designs are always practical. Function and comfort is essential for long term happiness.
