We love that the client wanted to be sure their children felt present and heard in the space. This is the family room, after all. Comfy accessories mixed with some more special finishes, give an eclectic, worldly vibe. The accessories are playful and the coffee table books are about travel, skiing, and man's best friend.

In this space, we addressed not only the outdated fireplace, but also the scale of the fireplace. We bumped up the size a bit by creating this gorgeous surround and mantel. The hearth is honed carrara marble and the face is a carrara herringbone in a polished finish.
